Microsoft Excel is a powerful and versatile software programme used to store, organise, manipulate and present data.
UNW is holding an introductory course to Excel, which is designed to provide a general understanding of the basic concepts of Excel and provide delegates with a strong platform to become a confident, efficient user.
Delivered by UNW’s Data Analyst Laura Hudson and Audit Manager Leanne Smith in an open and engaging format, this one-day course aims to enable attendees to create spreadsheets and perform calculations on datasets as well as effectively use common functions within Excel to analyse data.

Who is this training course for?
This course is a designed to be an introduction to Excel and whilst a basic understanding of Windows is assumed, no previous experience of using Excel is required.

Leanne joined UNW in 2019 as an Audit Manager, after qualifying as a chartered accountant at EY, and then working as a business partner within the manufacturing industry. Whilst there, her role involved utilising excel to produce management information and develop reports used within the business.
Laura is a Data Analyst Manager within UNW’s Audit and Assurance department. With a background in data analysis in both academic and commercial fields, Laura is experienced in a range of analytical and statistical methods. Laura is an experienced user of Microsoft Excel and has run Excel training sessions to help others develop their skills in this area.
