Danny is head of due diligence and has over 10 years’ transactions services experience in supporting clients with acquisitions, investment strategies and executing deals.
Danny joined UNW in 2024 and previously qualified with Mazars and was part of their London-based due diligence team. Danny relocated to Newcastle in 2019 and continued to advise on national and cross-border deals, primarily working on deals involving owner-managed businesses and private equity-backed transactions in the SME space, but also transactions involving large and listed entities.
Danny has significant experience of leading both buy-side and sell-side due diligence assignments, advising on SPAs, and deal completion mechanisms (both completion accounts and locked box). Having advised on over 80 transactions, Danny has worked across a wide array of sectors and deal sizes ranging from £1m and up to £240m, with the majority of advised deal sizes being £5m – £50m.
