When charging your electric ride,
Whilst at work, no tax will arise.
The facilities must be at or near to work,
And all employees can use the perk.
No taxable charge will come their way,
Just a green benefit day by day.
Since 2018, the rules are bright,
Charge at work and sleep tight.
The cost of electricity, the facilities too,
All covered by the exemption, just for you.
But remember, if you charge away,
No tax relief will come your way.
For parking spaces, the rules are set,
No tax to pay, no need to fret.
At or near, the law is clear,
A reasonable distance will suffice here.
Motorcycles, bicycles, cars alike,
All exempt, a tax-free hike.
So, this festive season, with joy and delight,
Charge and park at work, keeping spirits bright.
