HMRC have published an updated link (below) to make it easier for businesses to manage their import duties and VAT.

The link allows access to and manage, amongst other items:
- Customs cash account to top up or withdraw funds
- Duty deferment account
- General guarantee account
- Set up, view and manage account authorisations
- Postponed Import VAT statements
- C79 import VAT certificates
To use this service, a business will first need to register with the Customs Declaration Service (‘CDS’), which can also be accessed via the link above.
We believe this is a welcome and useful addition to HMRC’s website to allow businesses to easily access and manage their import duties and VAT accounts.
