Chris joined UNW’s due diligence team in February 2023, following 5 years at NVM Private Equity in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Originally from the North West, Chris has lived in Newcastle for over 12 years. Prior to joining UNW, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC before moving to NVM Private Equity, a regionally focused private equity manager, where he provided portfolio and financial management support and assisted the deals team with transaction execution.
Chris has significant experience on both sides of a transaction. Most recently, he has been a key member of UNW’s due diligence team, leading the day-to-day delivery of buy-side acquisition support and wider deal support for our clients across a broad range of sectors and deal sizes. He also has experience supporting UNW’s lead advisory team, delivering deals for owner-managed businesses, PE-backed SMEs, and larger entities across the region.
