UNW provided financial due diligence on behalf of Sterling Pharma Solutions as part of its latest acquisition, NewChem Technologies.
NewChem was established in 2002 as a spin-off from Newcastle University and is a contract services provided focused on organic chemistry supplying customers across a range of industries. As part of the transaction Sterling acquired all of the employees and assets, including NewChem’s laboratory facilities in Newcastle’s Biosphere.
Throughout the process UNW’s Corporate Finance team worked closely alongside Sterling Pharma’s management team and lawyers. Additional lead advisory support was provided as part of the valuation work and later review of completion accounts.
